There are plenty of interesting ‘days’ in Korea. Many of them are closely related to celebrating their own relation ship of lovers, but some says it is too commercial and we have to be aware of it. Let us see what Koreans celebrate through an year including St. Valentine’s day. January 14th - Diary day (다이어리 데이) Diary (다이어리) in Korean means small schedule book something like Franklin Planner. In the beginning of the year lovers give schedule book or organizer each other as a present. January 19th - Jjimjil-bang day (찜질방 데이) Jjimjil-bang (찜질방) is Korean dry sauna. We dial 119 instead of 911 in Korea to call fire fighter. So the number 119 connote something very hot. February 14th - St. Valentine’s day (발렌타인 데이) St Valentine’s day exists in Korea as well.
